On Saturday, 6 December 2025, the English courses of Mr. Hagenaars, Ms. Lang and Mr. Pažin went on a joint field trip to St. George’s Christmas Market in Charlottenburg, a small but very authentic British Christmas market.
In St. Geroge‘s church, people came together to sing a selection of Christmas carols and we had great fun chiming in. We especially enjoyed exploring British traditions and food, from freshly baked scones to sausage rolls and minced pies, and many other tasty treats. One of the highlights was a fun tombola that gave us the chance to win and take home some great souvenirs.
Overall, the trip was an enjoyable experience and a lot of fun. We can definitely recommend travelling to the other side of town to experience this unique and very British Christmas atmosphere!
Die Englischkurse von Herrn Hagenaars, Frau Lang und Herrn Pazin besuchten am Samstag, dem 6. Dezember, den britischen Weihnachtsmarkt an der anglikanischen St.-George-Kirche in Berlin. Dort konnten wir typische englische Weihnachtsdelikatessen wie Scones und Sausage Rolls probieren sowie an verschiedenen Ständen britische Getränke und Produkte entdecken.
Englische Weihnachtslieder, die sogenannten Christmas Carols, sorgten für eine besondere Atmosphäre.
Der Besuch fand bereits zum zweiten Mal statt und ist im Fachbereich Englisch inzwischen zu einer kleinen Tradition geworden.
